Beaufort Manor Country Lodge

Accommodation wise it was lovely. Beautiful rooms. Friendly service but the food could’ve been better. We had a braai, the food was cold and took longer than expected. It’s a good spot to rest when driving either up to Johannesburg or down to Cape Town.

While the staff were really wonderful, the venue seems a bit old and grimy. The bathroom had a pong and the ceiling was full of mould. The bed was the worst part as it was so uncomfortable. We slept on top of all the bedding with spare blankets from our car to make the bed bearable

Excellent service. Friendly staff. Starting from the booking. Very clean and tidy. Rooms are modern, flat screen TV and it's got DStv. Will surely book again

The Tourism Grading Council should review its 4 star grading of this place. I looked forward to staying and eating here, having had an excellent experience many years ago. The manager is rude. Clean and neat. Easy accessible for an overnight stay. Junior is an asset to the establishment
