Giba Gorge is always the go-to hiking spot for my friends and I. We quite enjoyed the scenery and the beautiful forests trails that took us all the way to the waterfalls. A must in every nature loving or hikers bucket list. Will definitely be going again.

It is a relatively short hike. There is an entrance fee of R50 or R60. Having hiked in Cape Town in free entry trails with wonderful views, I would give Giba Gorge a 3.2 star rating as a hiking spot. There is also mountain biking trails and a play area for kids.

Giba Gorge has fantastic mountain bike trails and is a must visit venue for any trip to KZN. If you like fast flowing single tracks then this is the place for you.
