Police Headquaters, Maiduguri

The police headquarters of Borno state sited in Maiduguri.it requires a great facelift to be a befitting office for a state police commissioner and his staff.

I was wondering if this place was the typical police station that I am used to visiting in other states. It is so clean, not rowdy, and the men on duty were very cooperative. I think that there is low crime rate.

The location is very easy for identification with nice perspective. It lays along the main entrance express road to the town. It comprises most of the police formations such as police training college, police mobile training college, mobile police barrack too.

The police headquarters in Maiduguri is headed by commissioner of police. It contains the state criminal investigation department (CID), the state investigation bureau (SIB). The officers there are helpful and friendly. The environment speaks of the cleanliness of the staff.
