We attended the Pietermaritzburg Kennel Club Championship Dog show at the grounds and we were pleasantly surprised by the venue. The restaurant had amazing food and the coffee was excellent.

Just what we were looking for. Conveniently situated, incredible management and employees, great surroundings and balcony and exceptional food to top that all off. Will definitely do this again.

The nature run that used to be a Parkrun is fantastic. You run through actual tunnels of greenery. It's cool and 80% in the shade. There are many horses and little streams. It's well worth visiting as a runner and cyclist. There is a car wash at the start of the run that is convenient.
