The Orchards Executive Accommodation

I stayed not the one in Ermelo, but in Glen Austin (http://theorchards.hostzi.com/) managed by the same owner. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and their garden was beautiful. Moreover, the hospitality of the staff and the owner couple was unforgettable. We really had a good time there.

During my two day stay there have been power cuts but Simon still manages to cook delicious food and nothing is too much trouble for him. I agree with a precious comment that aircon would be great and maybe wifi, but have no complaints about anything else. Definitely where I will stay on my next vis…

Room was moldy and sprider and it's web between the bed and side table . We struggled to get into our room with the wrong keys given to us . Early morning, very noisy. Rooms does not smell well and clean at all. Very unpleasant to stay here. Definitely not a 4 star!!

Phoned to make booking. They gave me a whatsapp number to send my booking details. Did that, got no response. Phone again the next day to explain that I need a confirmation and haven't recieved anything from them, only to have the phone slammed down on me. Won't book with them again.

I stayed in Orchards (Ermelo). It is apparently rated 4 star but there isn't even pure or decaf coffee available. There is only 2 pillows on the bed and also no aircon in the rooms. I wouldn't recommend this guesthouse nor stay here again.
