Umuabali Civic center

Iconic civic centre opened to the public in 1964 by The Rt The Hon MI Okpara, premier, Eastern Region of Nigeria. This hall has housed the seat of the customary court for Umuabali and Umuopara.

Established at about 1932 as a meeting place of Umuabali people. It is also known as Akasara-Onye .

Umuabali Civic hall is an illustration of the progressive nature of the people. Long live Umuabali! Long live Umuokorodo! Long live Umuopara!

Umuabali is one of the prominent villages in umuokpara, the first son of okorodo.
